I know it's probably really strange, but I am absolutely fascinated with all things related to Bram Stoker's DRACULA. You may know that Stoker pulled his Count from history's Vlad the Impaler, so of course, I'm fascinated by him. Sadly, though, this particular little book about Vlad isn't worth reading.
It hits the highlights, but it jumps all over the place. I found it very confusing because there were so many men named Vlad as well as many variations of the name "Dracula." While the book does have some interesting information, I didn't like the way it read and I was disappointed that I'd spent actual money on this particular copy/version of Vlad's story. Don't waste your time. If you still want to read it, you're welcome to borrow my copy--and keep it or pass it on to some other poor schmuck!
